INBODY SCAN FAQs

Should I eat before my appointment?

The test gives the best results on an empty stomach, or at least 2 hours after your last meal.

Do I need to go to the bathroom before my scan?

It is best to empty your bladder prior to the test.

Can I exercise before the scan?

Any strenuous exercise or sharp movements can cause temporary changes in your body composition. It is best to use the scale prior to a workout.

Can I do the scan while menstruating?

Because of the amount of changes in body’s water during your menstrual cycle, we suggest scheduling around it for the most accurate results.

I have a pacemaker. Can I use the InBody?

It is not recommended for use with pacemakers or implanted defibrillators.
