The Fitness-Asylum changed my life forever! I have always been aware of my weight. I have definitely tried my fair share of “quick fix” diets, none of which worked. I started really getting into fitness and weight lifting in 2010. I started learning more and more about nutrition and the impact it had on my body. I would stick to eating healthy for a few weeks and then would fall off. This pattern happened for years and I never saw the results I wanted.
In 2014, I injured my back lifting too heavy and ended up having emergency back surgery, at 30 years old I was being told I might never walk again due to the damage I had caused. I spent the next year, regaining my strength and getting myself back to where I was, able to walk, run and lift. Two weeks shy of my one-year anniversary from my surgery I injured my back again. This time I didn’t have surgery and just had to wait for it to heal on its own. Being unable to do almost anything for four months took a toll on me both mentally and physically. After months of physical therapy I began working out again, going back to the same pattern of on again off again eating healthy.
In 2018, I was introduced to the FA and I have never looked back. This placed has changed the way I workout and the way I eat. This place gave me the results that I was always looking for. In May I competed in my first bikini challenge and LOVED it and I can’t wait to do it again!!!!
