Lydia George | The Fitness Asylum

Lydia George

I spent most of 2011 dieting and going to a personal trainer ( very expensive) and only losing 10lbs over the course of the year. I was so over weight, unhappy, tired and embarrassed. I was at the park with my daughter and over heard a woman talking about The Fitness Asylum in Shrewsbury. She was gleaming with excitement about the workouts and help that she was getting from Bonnie. I sat on the edge of the sandbox and as she was talking I was looking up the website on my phone. I remember I kept checking the site for about a month. I must have read every testimonial a hundred times. I was amazed by one story and knew I had to try this. I felt it was my last resort.

I emailed Bonnie and she got back to me immediately. I was scheduled for surgery in the beginning of November 2011 and as soon as I was cleared, I was ready to begin. I called on a friend and asked her to do this Holiday 4 week challenge with me. Bonnie was right there to show us what to do and how to do everything correctly. The other people there were so supportive and kept you going.

I knew at 224 lbs that I could do the workout and was more than ready to do the Body Challenge in January 2012. This has changed my life in more ways than just losing the pounds. Many other health related issues are gone, and with the support I get from the other clients and trainers, for me there is no other way. Since that day in January to now I am down 65 lbs., I feel amazing, and I look forward to continuing on and keep this lifestyle. Thanks Bonnie, I couldn’t have done this without you…….
