I joined FA for the Winter Challenge 2016-2017. I will say I was skeptical as some of the things on the food plan were contrary to current ‘dieting’ thoughts. But my weight had been slowly creeping up and nothing else I was doing- even eating ‘pretty well’ and working out 4 times per week weren’t helping. I finally had to jump in and try it.
Guess what? It worked! Finally the scale was moving in the right direction! Plus, I was getting stronger by going to the bootcamps which had special pricing because of the challenge. Not only was I seeing results in the scale, I started sleeping solidly through the night, my skin was clearer (I was TOLD this), and my digestive system evened out. I was not sick ONCE all winter, despite the fact the rest of my family had their standard run of colds and flu.
Eat MORE to lose MORE. It comes down to what you are eating and the proportions. In the beginning I had trouble eating everything I was supposed to eat throughout the day.
I enjoyed the Team approach for the challenge, and it broke down the large group into a more manageable sub-groups where I got to know people and share support, ideas, and tricks. Over the course of the Winter Challenge, I lost 16lbs and gained some interesting insights on eating and being well.
In fact, I was so pleased with the results, I signed up for the Spring Challenge 2017 to keep this process going! Thank you, Bonnie!
