I have always been interested in nutrition and fitness. Three years ago I realized that I had done what I cold do on my own as far as fitness was concerned. I needed a “push/encouragement.” I heard about the Fitness Asylum, so after a few months of contemplation I signed up for my first class. I was definitely intimidated and nervous, but it didn’t take long to realize how inviting the instructors and everyone else in the classes were. As I got stronger I thought about my next step- the Bikini Challenge. After a lot of encouragement from the Fitness Asylum community I signed up. We were told to “trust the process,” so I did and the results happened. I committed myself to the process with hard work, determination and focus. I gained not only physical and mental strength, but also more confidence in myself. I am happy to be a part of the Fitness Asylum community and look forward to seeing what else I can accomplish.
