20 weeks of prep…..during a pandemic, and homeschooling my kids, and still working, and having a sick parent, and turning our worlds completely upside down.
I would have never believed this is something I could do. I could have quit….I could have backed out at any time, but I didn’t. I kept going.
I had a goal and I went for it when the whole world was trying to tell me I couldn’t.
I’m so thankful for Bonnie Lefrak and the fitness asylum for coaching me through some of the hardest times of my life.
This diet was a constant in my life when the pieces around me were crumbling.
7 days a week of cardio and 6 days a week of strength training, and a constantly changing diet when the grocery stores were at their breaking point. My kids were troopers and understood that mommy does basement bootcamp in the morning then it was schoolwork time.
My husband Chris Piccioli was more supportive than I could have ever imagined. He practically pushed me out the door for my walks on days when I just didn’t think I could do it.
,He built me a weight rack and found me a treadmill so I would never have an excuse to not do what I had signed up to do. True love is having someone who supports your goals, even if it’s hard for them.
My friends. Jenn Forsberg and Sara Bates who were with me through it all.
We wanted to quit and give up but we kept each other going through what seemed like a year. They are my rocks and my best friends. We talk all day everyday and supported each other through what seemed like a lifetime of challenges and celebrations.
These two will forever hold a special place in my ❤️.
I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can not wait to see what the future holds for me!
