After running back to back Boston Marathons in the worst weather in the history of the event, I decided to hang up my running sneakers for a pair of heels and compete in
The Fitness Asylum Spring 2020 Bikini Competition.
This program was originally twenty-two weeks of strict dieting, zero alcohol consumption, intense workouts and miles of walking.
Six weeks in, COVID hit. Grocery store shelves were bare, gyms started closing, our 4am walking team started thinning out and our posing classes that were once in person got moved weekly to zoom.
Our original competition was scheduled for May 30th then postponed to June 20th then cancelled on my Birthday(😂🤣😂) It wasn’t meant to be and that’s okay. I’m coming out of this quarantine stronger, both psychically and mentally.
All thanks to my coach Bonnie. I can’t thank you enough for creating this program and most importantly keeping it real and direct during the most challenging times. I couldn’t have done this without you. All the coaches at Fitness Asylum thank you. All of you have contributed to my success one way or another.
Lori for convincing me to sign up, Angelica for being so amazing both in front and behind the camera and Sara for doing a stellar job on my makeup and lashes.
Thank you to all my amazing friends and family for sticking behind me through another crazy adventure.
Tony and Kyle you’re continuous support means more to me then you’ll ever know. I LOVE you GUYS!!!
Congratulations FA Spring Bikini Team! Be proud…we did it! You’re all flawless! I can’t wait to reconnect this fall.
Until then…I’ll be eating nachos and drinking all the Tito’s I missed during the process😜👙💪🏼👠
