I have been a member of four different transformation teams. Each time I joined a team, I had a different reason for why I did it. The first time I competed my “why” was to see if the results that I saw on Facebook were real and to see if I could commit to a lifestyle change. Well, the results were real and I lost 27 pounds and felt stronger than ever.

When it came to transformation number two, my reason “why” was my daughter. My daughter had completed a body challenge with great success and was motivated by my transformation to compete in bikini. She asked me to take this on again. So we did it together and grew closer than we ever imagined possible. We also adopted healthier eating patterns as a lifestyle change.

For transformation number three, my reason “why” was to see if I could add more muscle to my body. I trained harder and took specialty classes to enhance my transformation. I recommend hitty bitty and hard core. I began to see the definition I was hoping for. I felt more confident on the stage, but knew I could improve even more.

Finally, for my fourth transformation my “why” was because I have grown to love this sport and couldn’t imagine not being part of this team.
If you are wondering if you can do this, I strongly encourage you to do it. You will find a million reasons not to do it, but I hope you will find your reason “why” to do it. I hope your why is stronger than your doubts and will drive you past your fears right onto the stage.
