Amy Crean

January 2017, that’s when I decided it was time to do something different. I was skeptical, I was nervous, I was excited….never could I have imagined the progress I would make in 1 year.

I used to run, that was my thing (despite the fact that I didn’t enjoy it). I ate healthy, so I thought…..Yogurt, fruit, skim milk, oatmeal, whole wheat bread, low fat everything. So, why didn’t I feel healthy??

So, I sat through the winter challenge kick off and thought, “how could I have been so wrong about so many foods? How could I have been so wrong about the importance of nutrition over exercise? Why didn’t I learn any of this on any of the gazillion diets I was on for the last 30 years?”

I didn’t get any answers to those questions, but I did get a whole new understanding of how eating the right foods, at the right times, in the right quantity would change my life. Within a few days I felt an amazing difference physically, mentally and emotionally….and it just kept getting better!

I now feel stronger, leaner and healthier than I ever have – ever! I can do more than just run now, I can climb ropes and swing on monkey bars and jump over walls, and it’s actually fun!

Thank you to Bonnie Lefrak and all of the amazing people at the Fitness Asylum for helping me to push myself further than I ever thought possible! I am forever grateful and am excited to continue this journey with you!!
