Tara is known around the Fitness Asylum community for her fitness fanatic lifestyle, competitive drive, and being a long time veteran of significant weightloss.
Back in 2012, her new lifestyle and passion for wellness encouraged her to get certified and start helping others achieve their goals. She’s been teaching group exercise classes and training college athletes for over 5 years.
Tara is certified in both personal and group training through AFAA/NASM with a number of additional certifications in movement and safety courses specific to athletes. Her training style specialty is functional strength and metabolic style workouts that both build full body strength and boost stamina.
All of that… paired with Tara’s high energy, no nonsense teaching style is the perfect transformation enhancing recipe.
Like others, Tara was first a client of the Fitness Asylum joining the Fitness Asylum in 2016. Since joining, she’s become an active part of the challenge community completing the Sprint, Body, and most recently the Bikini Challenge. She will be the first to tell you that emerging from her sweat towel fog spin days and joining the Fitness Asylum was one of the best (most important, healthiest) decisions to date.
