Rachel Vincequere | The Fitness Asylum

Rachel Vincequere

In May 2016 I discovered The Fitness Asylum. I was looking to add a new element into my workout routine and took my first FA Bootcamp. Having a fitness background, I was looking for something challenging and fun all rolled into one. The instructors were outstanding and the people in class were welcoming and supportive. I knew immediately that The Fitness Asylum was the perfect place for me.

Since joining The Fitness Asylum, I have taken part in both indoor and outdoor bootcamps and a variety of specialty classes. I am currently a member of the FA Spartan Race Team and have taken part in multiple Spartan races including the infamous Killington Beast and earned my first Trifecta in 2017. Besides Spartan races, I have completed triathlon races, 5k races and the Rock and Roll Half Marathon in Providence, Rhode Island. I have also had the privilege to complete the 200 mile Ragnar Relay race which was truly an amazing experience for me and my FA team. The Fitness Asylum has truly allowed me to challenge myself and accomplish goals I never thought possible.

Most recently, I have been given the opportunity to join the outstanding staff of The Fitness Asylum as an instructor and to also lead the FITKIDS program. I’m beyond excited to be able to share my love for fitness and living a healthy, fit lifestyle with people of all ages.

I am currently completing my ACE personal training certification and after years in elementary education am moving into the field of physical education.
