Mary-Beth Turner | The Fitness Asylum

Mary-Beth Turner

I’ve always been active and enjoyed working out but after having 3 children I found it hard to find the time or motivation to go to the gym. A friend asked me to join a 12 week body challenge at the Fitness Asylum in January of 2012 so I figured I give it a try. After the first bootcamp I attended I knew this was different and I was hooked! My love for fitness was back! Not only were the bootcamps challenging, the instructors were very motivational and I met so many women who have become friends. In February of 2014 I joined the first bikini challenge and competed in my first fitness competition in November at the age of 47 and earned my Pro Card in Bikini at 48 and Pro Card in Figure at 49.

I love that I am a roll model for my 3 boys and feel that I can honestly say I am in the best shape of my life. Finding time for myself and feeling fit and healthy has made me a better wife and mother. I became an instructor in May of 2016 and love to help others become the best version of themselves. It’s never too late to start a fitness routine and its very rewarding to be a part of such an amazing community at the Fitness Asylum.
