I like to mix up my workouts and coaching style. Being a teacher, I realize there is not a “one size fits all” way to do things. I also remind myself that things I prefer for my own personal workouts (strength training), does not meet what others prefer (cardio…) I believe variation is key to building strength and endurance. I love it all!
Why I love being a coach at The Fitness Asylum:
The community. I can’t think of a better place to come and let your guard down, have fun, and work hard. Whether you are an experienced gym-goer or it is the first time stepping into a gym, everyone is there cheering you on all the same. For many (myself included), the gym can be a very vulnerable place; but the FA community makes it all so much more pleasant, and dare I say, even enjoyable!!
