Gail Rutkousky | The Fitness Asylum

Gail Rutkousky

I have always been involved in organized and free-lance sports. I grew up with a very active lifestyle. I showed horses, worked on a farm, coached a youth swim team, was a member of my college swim team, cheerleader and taught exercises classes all through high school and College. I have always loved to teach and help people achieve their goals. My interest in fitness and health has always been a big part of my life. I taught Aerobics for many years but then joined the corporate world and was not able to commit to a position in teaching Aerobics. Business stress, travel and corporate responsibilities lead to less time for taking care of me and more time taking care of my career. Even though I was still active, I was not as healthy as I once was. I began training for Sprint Triathlons a few years ago and decided it was time to get back to optimum health. I found the Fitness Asylum. I began with a Challenge and had great success. It was a transformation for me and my lifestyle. I was fortunate enough to be able to go back to one of the things that I love most….teaching and I became an instructor at the Fitness Asylum. The opportunity to help so many women and men achieve their goals and full potential has been so very fulfilling. The confidence that I see growing in people as they reach goal after goal is a true testament to the Fitness Asylum’s organization, supportive nature, its Leadership and the program.
I have been certified by American Aerobic Assc International and working toward an ACE Fitness Trainer certification.
