I have always had a great love for athletics, weight training and any kind of movement. I was introduced to strength training by a High school football coach, grew to love it and continued training and competing throughout my collegiate years. Over the last fifteen or so years I have experimented with various training forms from martial arts, calisthenics, kettle bells anything I could get my hands on to improve performance and conditioning. After college I began a fifteen year Law Enforcement career where physical fitness and being an alpha was a big part of the culture. My LE career left me with high stress levels and a little bit burned out. In 2014, my wife Amy introduced me to the Fitness Asylum, and I was quickly humbled by the workout I received, the intensity in the room, and the results I witnessed. The Fitness Asylum rekindled my enthusiasm for fitness and I was encouraged to follow my true passion to become a NASM CPT and help others achieve their fitness goals.
