I had to take a minute as I sit in my office in tears to thank you for the program and gym you have created. I needed a kick in the ass like you can’t imagine.I was not taking care of myself and just in a slump for at least a year. I am and always have been very active, a personal trainer for over 15 years, served 8 years in the Air Force and pretty determined in everything I do but was just not feeling like “me”. I needed to get my “strength” back. Your program has made me feel POWERFUL and BEAUTIFUL and SUCCESSFUL. It showed me that when I truly put my mind to something I WILL GET IT DONE! These are the things I instill in young girls in a program I created called Girl Power however I had lost the belief in myself. Until now!!!!
This challenge has given me more then I could have ever dreamed of. A place to go and get my butt kicked while loving every second. Incredible, strong ladies to build friendships with, confidence and strength. You and your instructors have created an environment for all fitness levels to support each other. We can help each other as we work on and take care of ourselves. It’s brilliant and I feel very grateful that I found you, this program and the Fitness Asylum.
Lastly, I expected to take off some weight and get back on track but I never expected the other things I will take from this program and the last 12 weeks. Lessons my boys have learned about their mothers determination, focus and ability to take care of herself. How to be truly fearless, committed and how to sacrifice things in the moment for what you really want in the future. I’m feeling overwhelmed with joy in this moment and just needed to share it with you. I know this is not a sustainable weight for me and that is ok. I will savor the next 3 days!!!
I have lost. 31.9 freakin’ pounds as of this moment! I just stepped on my scale and it reads 131.0!!!
Thank you for what you do, what you have created and for helping me to feel more beautiful and powerful then I have in MANY YEARS!!! As I turn 45 this week I know that the best gift I could have given myself this year was the gift of health. I will continue to go to the Asylum and practice what I have learned about feeding my body healthy foods, the importance of rest and proper hydration. I am a powerhouse again and it feels amazing!
With much love and appreciation,
