| Whether you want to shed a few pounds or take your body to a lean muscular ripped look, Bonnie Lefrak can and will get there! I started working with Bonnie back in 2006, 2 years after having my twin boys. I can't say that I was overweight, but I wanted to be leaner, I wanted to see the abs I could feel under my skin. I was dedicated in my workouts, watched what I ate, and thought I could do it on my own just exercising. I was wrong. Hind sight is 20/20, the old adage goes, knowing what I know now about how the body –my body responds to a healthy nutrition plan -I wish I had done it sooner! My body comp went from 28% fat to a lean 10% or less body fat.
In September of 2009 I decided to enter the world of competitive body building. I wanted a goal for myself and my nutrition. Naturally, I spoke with Bonnie and she gave me all the guidance I needed to start what turned into an amazing journey for me and my body. Her experience as a competitive pro body builder helped tremendously when dealing with the ups and downs of one of the strictest plans you can ever imagine. No matter what the question/concern or freak out that I had was, she was there for me. Responding so quickly and helping me stay focused and on the right track.
I went from being 130lbs to 108lbs at the peak of my competition. I maintain my weight of 125-127lbs, following a plan from Bonnie during the off-season, where I am lifting for function and strength to prepare for my next show.
There is no doubt in my mind, that working with Bonnie got me 2 place in the Novice division lightweight women's bodybuilding classic at Nancy Andrew's Northeast Classic, and 2nd place in the open light weight body building class at Robert Fulton's pro-qualifier show just two weeks later where I came in even leaner and harder than my first show.
It's been an amazing journey and I look forward to continuing my body building career with Bonnie right there every step of the way!
